My name is Sue Hickey, I have been teaching second grade for 7 years here at Silver Hill. Before that I taught third grade for 4 years at Bartlett School here in Haverhill. I grew up in Haverhill and attended Haverhill Public Schools (Crowell, Nettle and Haverhill High) I graduated in 1994. After high school I attended Framingham State College and majored in Elementary Education and English, while I was there I had the opportunity to live and teach in England for 2 months. I graduated in 1998 with a B.A. in English and a B.S. in Elementary Education. After graduating I started teaching right away and went to school at night. I graduated with my Masters Degree in Elementary Education in 2002 from Fitchburg State College. I married my husband Steve in 2003 and we have a 2 year old daughter named Ella. We live in York, Maine and love the beach! Some of my favorite things to do are travel, read and work in my garden.
